Les verbes irréguliers ne suivent pas la règle du "-ed" au passé.
Au TOEIC®, ils représentent 40% des questions de grammaire en Partie 5 et apparaissent dans tous les contextes professionnels du test.
La vraie difficulté ? Reconnaître instantanément quelle forme utiliser quand tu lis un email, un rapport ou une annonce.
Par exemple : "The supplier has sent the invoice" (pas "sended"). Organiser ces verbes par situation professionnelle (et pas par ordre alphabétique) te permet de les mémoriser 3 fois plus vite.
Verbes pour les réunions et présentations
Ces verbes reviennent dans les dialogues Listening (Partie 3-4) et les emails/annonces sur les meetings (Partie 7).

Les 3 erreurs catastrophiques (et comment les éviter)
Chez les candidats qu'on suit, trois erreurs reviennent constamment et coûtent entre 20 et 50 points au total.
Erreur 1 : Confondre les formes A-B-C
Les verbes comme write/wrote/written ou choose/chose/chosen sont les plus piégeux.
- The contract was wrote last month. ✗

Le contrat a été rédigé le mois dernier.
Après "was/were", tu utilises TOUJOURS le participe passé (3e colonne), jamais le passé simple (2e colonne).
Erreur 2 : Oublier "have/has" au present perfect
- The supplier sent the invoice three times this week. (passé simple)
- The supplier has sent the invoice three times this week. (present perfect) ✓
Le fournisseur a envoyé la facture trois fois cette semaine.
Avec "this week/month/year" (période non terminée), tu dois utiliser "has/have + participe passé".
Erreur 3 : Appliquer "-ed" par réflexe
Après des années d'anglais, ton cerveau automatise "-ed". Du coup : "choosed", "sended", "builded".
Réflexe : quand tu hésites sur un verbe courant (go, make, take, send, write, know), c'est probablement irrégulier.
Sur Flow Exam, tu peux t'entraîner directement sur le thème Verbes Irréguliers exactement dans le même format qu'au TOEIC®. Donc si tu as des difficultés sur ce thème, tu ne referas plus jamais les mêmes erreurs.
Méthode d'apprentissage par contexte (vraiment efficace)
Même chez des candidats qui ont déjà accès à une plateforme de préparation via leur école, la mémorisation par listes alphabétiques échoue.
La raison est simple : ces outils insistent sur la règle, mais rarement sur le réflexe à adopter sous pression.
- Étape 1 : choisis UN contexte (par exemple "emails"). Concentre-toi sur les 15-20 verbes de cette catégorie pendant 3 jours.
- Étape 2 : crée 5 phrases réalistes TOEIC® par jour avec ces verbes. Exemple : "I have sent the report and attached the financial data."
- Étape 3 : entraîne-toi sur des questions Partie 5 ciblées (4 choix, 10 secondes par question). La reconnaissance passive ne suffit pas.
- Étape 4 : En 6 semaines, tu couvres tous les contextes professionnels avec une mémorisation durable.
Les candidats qui progressent le plus rapidement ont un point commun : ils catégorisent leurs erreurs (contexte + type de confusion) au lieu de juste refaire des exercices au hasard.
